Illustrator by day and comic artist by night, Alexis Ziritt originally comes from Venezuela but has lived in the US for the last 10 years. His work is influenced by old Mexican comics like El Santo, Kaliman and Fantomas, as well as the great lucha libre movie lobby cards. Past projects include music flyers for groups such as Mastodon, Cage and Prefuse 73, published short comics in BARSOWIA magazine, plus his own comic series “Rudo” and "MEKANO TURBO".

November 22, 2010 (Monday). 10 missiles devastate Japan, claiming no victims. This apparent terrorist act is referred to as "Careless Monday" and disregarded by most people. The series begins three months later, with a young Japanese woman named Saki Morimi visiting Washington D.C. as part of her graduation trip. When she gets into trouble, a mysterious Japanese man, who introduces himself as Akira Takizawa, helps her through it. The man appears to have no memory and is completely naked, carrying only a gun and a cell phone charged with 8.2 billion yen in digital money. The cell phone has the phrase, noblesse oblige ("nobility obligates" or "noble's obligation" in English), printed on it. While they are coming back to Japan, they learn that a new missile attack has taken place in their country......

the Gauguin "Where Do We Come from? What Are We? Where Are We Going?"

For the first time in Japan - Gauguin's testament painting: "Where Do We
Come from? What Are We? Where Are We Going? " on loan from the Museum of
Fine Arts, Boston. The Nagoya exhibition includes 40 other major works
and investigates the theme of life and death in the artist's work.

From the 3rd of June the exhibition moves from Nagoya to Tokyo. The 50
plus works in the leg of the exhibition shifting the focus to the
process and motifs of Gauguin - in particular his interest in the
primitive art of the South Seas.

James Joyce is a London based artist and designer. His work uses bold hand drawn lines and graphic shapes, and often includes typography and strong colors to produce powerful images. At the start of 2006 he founded his own studio One Fine Day where he produces limited edition prints of his work as well as taking on commissions from the likes of Penguin books, Nike and Creative Review.

Born in 1986, illustrator Adam Dedman is currently studying graphic design at University College Falmouth in Cornwell while working freelance. He has a passion for drawing, typography, printmaking and beards.
