THE FREITAG BOOK

1993 Freitag started
1996 the first Freitag bags were officially exported and sold in Japan
2001 Lars Mueller released the F-Book in English
Now we are very pleased to announce that in 2008 the Japanese release of the Freitag Book has been completed and is finally published!

Due to increasing environment problems, the Freitag bags gained attention as "eco" bags or "recyling" bags. But Freitag cannot just be bunched in a few fashionable keywords- Freitag is special!
>From the complementation of the first bags 15 years ago until now the message is:
" We are spreading out!" and this is what the book is about. The certain Freitag appeal is shown -unfold! The entire Freitag world is shown, but in fact only a fraction of it...

4 Months, 2 Weeks and 2 Days “4 LUNI, 3 SAPTAMINI SI 2 ZILE”

Romania in 1987, the last days of President Ceausescu's dictatorship, the black market flourishes. A woman assists her friend to arrange an illegal abbortion. In 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days, director Cristian Mungiu describes a day, uber-extremly tensed as on a heroin turkey. Based on deep and careful research on the time and historical background, the impassioned performance of all actors, pure and straight camer work created this masterpiece.
What did it mean to live in a society where individual freedom was abandoned? This movie gives the answer. Shocking and dramatic, in every of the 113 Minutes, until the last scene.

Modernconya's New Album "The reason why the weather exists" released on Feb 6th!

A colourful sound, smoothly to listen, senseful lyrics and a band that plays excellent pop: Modernconya presents their new album after quite two years since their last release.
From the 11 members before, the key of 7 remained and they focused on a tighter, shaped up sound. To combine a new world of tunes, they improved their song set up in clearity. Instead of being tight up by the general public and being choosen from a certain range, they just want to let their music flow.

Profile:
Vocalist Maki Nagayama formed this band when she was still attending school. The multicoloured group of the piano in addition of vocal, guitar, base, and drum, percussions, and wind instruments give a powerful and full-flavoured performance. With a feeling of the happyness during their life concerts they are crossing of a variety of music genres like jazz, bossa nova, funk, pop and ethno. The off balance and original sense or keyboarder Tam Chushin in combination with vocalist Maki Nagayama turn each of their songs to unique and extraordinary artworks.

Modernconya's 4th and newest album "The reason why weather exists" is available by Feb. 6th
