Jonathan Lax was born in 1982 in Holon, Israel. He is still student at the Holon Institute of Technology and works part time as a freelance designer. He focuses on T-shirt and CD jacket designs and get's inspired by the streets and his everyday life. Paul Bedser was born in 1972 in Alton , England. He graduated from the Surrey Institute of Art and Design and works now as an Illustrator, Artist and Designer. He developed character designs for MTV and LYNX and did some advertisement and magazine works. Kenn Goodall was born in 1981 in Leeds. He studied at the Liverpool School of Art and works and lives now in London, UK. He is an Illustrator and works mostly for editorial and music projects. Naomi Ryder was born 1978 in Leicester, England. She lives now in London after studying Textile Design at the Manchester Metropolitan University. She works as a Textile Artist, specialised in embroidery illustration. She worked on mag illustrations for Plan B, designed posters for Habitat a well as advertisements for Domino records. Brief The "Universe" is the summation of all particles and energy that exist. It is the space-time in which all events occur. Just like the design community, it transcends all boundaries and value, to embrace each and every one of our force with the same spirit. Express visually (by graphics, drawings, illustrations, photography, typography...) what this particular word means to you. Winning entries of "Universe" will not only be published in IdN magazine in the form of an article, but will also be printed on graniph's t-shirt for sale all over the world.

Emilie Alston is a London based designer and illustrator. Since graduating from Liverpool School of Art and Design she has worked with various design studios, as well as taking on freelance projects.
