Wim Crouwel

Wim Crouwel is a dutch graphic designer and typographer, born in The Netherlands in 1928.
He is one of the leading dutch graphic designers since the 60's.
He was the curator of the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam and until now he holds lectures and exhibits his own work. Since over 30 years he handles the artdirection for the private galleries Van Abbe and SMA and is an active member of the graphic design scene.

New artist - Lars Henkel

Lars Henkel was born 1973 in Italy. He studied at the KHM, Academy for Media in Cologne, Germany and works now as an illustrator. He does a lot of work for magazines and publishers, but focusses also very much on his own artworks. Together with Anja Struck and Mario Wagner he belongs to the art collective Reflektorium.

New Artist - Missy Noh

Missy Noh was born 1976 in Gent, Switzerland from a Russian Mother and a Swiss Father. Her multicultural background made her travel through several countries, after studying Illustration at the Ecole Superieure des Beaux-Arts (ESPA) in Gent. She got a special training in Taekwondo in Korea and lives and works now as a life-artist in Tokyo.

New artist - Marjolaine Sirieix

Marjolaine Sirieix born 1979 in Sevres sur Seine in France. She studied at theESAG met de Penninghen and lives currently in Paris as an illustrator and artist and editor.
She does her own mag called Fanzine Corporate and it's sold in underground bookstores and Colette Paris. She has participated in exhibitions at Agnes B., Colette, Arts Factory and recently at the group exhibition "If You Could" in London. She belongs to the art collective Lov'Corp and Art Posthume.

New artist - Overture

Overture:
was founded by Aya and Jason Brown in 2004 to introduce their works to the artscene like an overture introduces an opera to the audience. Aya was born 1978 in Beppu-City, Oita-ken, Japan and Jason was born 1981 in Greenfield, Massachusetts, USA. Both work as artists and illustrators. They did designs for PlanB, Oneonenine, USE Paper and have done T-shirts for Poketo, BeamsT, FatCat Records and did animations for Cartoon Network Japan. They also participate in various exhibitions (Little Cake Gallery in NYC etc).

New artist - Phillip Niemeyer

Phillip Niemeyer is one face behind the creative artdirection team Double Triple. He was born 1973 in San Antonio, Texas, USA and works now in Brooklyn, New York, USA.
He studied Law at the University of Texas at Austin, but decided to focus on his ideas as a graphic designer. He taught himself and works now on graphic projects for small-to-medium sized businesses, non-profit organizations, musicians and record labels together with his partners Jason Corace and Dana McClure for Double Triple. He created the corporate face of Monkeytown in Brooklyn!

New artist - Danijel Zezelj

Danijel Zezelj published his first comic while studying in his first year at The Academy of fine Arts in Kroatia. Since 1986 his comics and illustrations were published in various magazines and books in the previous Yugoslavia, Slovenia, England, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Sweden, America etc. In 1993 he published his first graphic novel Editiori Del Grifo and in collaboration with Federico Fellini Il Ritmo Del Cuore. Further he wrote for the italian and Kroatian TV program a short movie script and created also the design and layout for it.
In 1995 he moved to America and since 1997 he works on multimedia performances together with the musician and composerJessica Lurie and the authors Greiner and Kropilak. These artworks were exhibited in Italy, America and also for the first time in Kroatia.
In the year 2001, Greiner, Kopilak and Zezelj founded the small publishing company Petikat where they hold various graphic and video workshops.

New artist - Andy Smith

Andy Smith was born in 1973 in Norfolk UK. He studied at the Brighton University and the Royal College of Art in London. His works were featured in advertising campaingns, editorials, animations and book jackets. He also won Creative Awards of D&AS and AOI. His work is about characters, humour and events and is inspired by immediate sourroundings. Illustrations are combined with strong typography and copywriting skills to create work hat speaks for itself. His clients include Nike, Mcdonalds, Mercedes, Orange and Expedia.
