Wyeth Hansen was born 1981 in Fresno, California. She studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and lives now in Brooklyn as a designer and musician.
She is working for a wide creative range such as movies, printmaking exhibitions and magazine illustrations, composing music and textile patterns. She is a member of Rad Mountain.

Their newest tracks combine yoga, reggae, and fashion with the sharply contrasting emotions of love, anger and despair - energetic dance-rock songs which paint a picture of the pleasure of life's many ups and downs.

Turner Prize winner Olafur Eliasson has installed four waterfalls in the East River and under the Brooklyn Bridge. The waterfalls will be up for this Summer until October 13th, so be sure to walk across the Manhattan bridge and check them out if you're in NYC.

The Festival C/O Pop open its doors with a delicious program of international musicians from pop to punk and house to jazz who will play at different indoor and outdoor stages. Young creatives of media art and design will have the possibility to show their works in special locations and to a wide audience through workshops, seminars and discussion forums. C/O Pop is an international network platform for the music and creative industry!

Just one week later, from August 22nd till 31st "ARTRMX" the first artfestival for young and contemporary art will be
held in Koln as well. About 380 artists applied for the debut-festival with the title "Where is my mind", but the jury managed to select 50 youngsters to exhibit their works in an original and unique way throughout the city!

On 11 June 2008, the dutch queen, Her Majesty Queen Beatrix opened the Graphic Design Museum, Beyerd Breda, the first museum in the world that concentrates specifically on graphic design. An institute that will act as museum, knowledge centre, teaching environment, shop for image culture, designer cafe and production house for graphic design. The Graphic Design Museum offers established designers an international stage and is, at the same time, a spring-board for new top talent. The last hundred years are brought to life for everybody in an interactive exhibition which includes work by Piet Zwart, Wim Crouwel, Anthon Bekke and Erik Kessels.

Illustrative is an annual exhibition of international contemporary illustrators. It started in 2006 in Berlin, was held in Paris in 2007 and arrives in Zurich for the first time this year.
Entry to the Illustrative "Young Illustrators Award" is now open for all illustrators, graphic artist and designers!
The 20 winners will be (1) exhibited in a separate section at the upcoming ILLUSTRATIVE, the international festival for contemporary graphic and illustrative art, and (2) integrated into the artist selection of Illustrative. One winner will be given the opportunity to create a limited-edition watch for Swatch - a great chance to join the ranks of artists such as Kiki Picasso, Tadanori Yokoo and Keith Haring!Other winners can look forward to prizes such as exhibition opportunities, agency contracts and publication in international magazines.

The Kalimera communication agency, together with Red Publishing, editorial house of Modena, have gathered artworks of the most interesting Italian graphic designers. All artworks are collected in the book "Italian Renaissance" to promote the theme of "communication and creativity related to culture and an economical development" as well as part of exhibitions, conference, performances, workshops and other public happenings. This project is touring through Europe, starting from Italy and will hopefully also arriving in other parts of the world.
