Life is sweet. A dessert-like life is fabulous for some people. Cake may be strongly associated with Europe but this shortcake is a Japanese take on the classic American treat.

AMDR, a desgin office specialized for graphic designs and art directions, have worked for countless productions regardless to the genre, such as advertisements, magazines, fashion, music, and wall paints since 2003. AMDR is well known for their expressions in silkscreens, drawings, photomontages, and graphic designs using various techniques. Taking advantage of both traditional and modern methods, they have introduced many artworks which have been carefully designed from it's flexible, but precise point of views.

1996- Began designing CD Jackets for a number of friends' bands. Became seriously involved with producing CD Jackets after leaving the design firm he was working for in 1998. Participated in Mood Shinaberu's "Super Charger" in 1999. Subsequently, and currently, engaged in solo work.

An artist unit founded in 1997 and led by Hiro Sugiyama. Pursuing an analogue feel using unique digital methods they quickly garnered acclaim for their TBC commercial portrait of Kimura Takuya. They then made waves with their advertising work for Honda HRV, Shibuya PARCO and Shinseido UNO, and CD jackets and promotional videos for artists such as Utada Hikaru, Hitoto Yo, Bonny Pink, Sketch Show and Osawa Shinichi.

VJing at Towa Tei's club event, Enlightenment have played all over the world and in 2007 VJed for the domestic tours of m-flo and Osawa Shinichi. Their activities have become even more globally focused after signing with the London creative agency 'pocko'.

At the Murakami Takashi curated 'SuperLight' they caught the eye of the modern art world with their portrait of Ayrton Senna and this has continued through numerous solo shows in New York, Napoli, Shanghai and Paris to name just a few.

Portraits to date include former Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi, Brad Pitt, the baseball play Ichiro, Asano Tadanobu, Fukatsu Eri, and Murakami Ryu.

Regardless of the state of Japanese culture it is often the case that things evolve organically - like the Galapagos Islands.　In this design the triangle motif represents the Japanese people internalizing the influence of other countries (circle and square) and independently developing like the branches and leaves of a tree.

WABISABI were established by Ryohei 'wabi' Kudo and Kazushi 'sabi' Nakanishi in 1999. They work in a wide range of fields such as advertising, graphic design, object design and films. Past awards include 85TH NY-ADC Awards Silver Prize, 86TH NY-ADC Awards Merit Prize, International Poster Toyama Gold Prize, Taiwan International Poster Design Award 2006 Bronze Prize and many more. HORMONDAKE
A lot of people love mushrooms. Who knows why but a hell of a lot do - from children through to adults. Is it the taste? Is it the shape? Something mysterious that cannot be explained? Bumping into the fly agaric in the forest is particularly shocking. All Super Mario lovers jump at the sight of a mushroom and power-up!

"Japanese written in English"
"MISO" and "味噌"
They both refer to the same thing but they seem somehow distinct. For example, the "MISO" in a Tupperware container and the "味噌" in a wooden barrel.

It is surprising that HIBACHI (火鉢) will be understood by non-Japanese people in it's original pronunciation.
Words like NO (能) or GO (碁) are homonyms when comparing them in English and Japanese.
Putting a 'D' in the middle of KUDZU (葛) gives it and English feel.
We hope that this T-Shirt will conjure up many varied images in the minds of all who come across it.

2006(Summer): First full-length feature 'Otoka wa sore o Gaman Dekinai (男はソレを我慢できない)'. Directs commercials for companies including、Right-on、Wacol、Onward Kumikyoku、DTC、newbalance、Menardand AC.
2008: Carbon Offset New Year Card total design.
2006(Autumn): Launches the magazine 'Erokoto' with Sakamoto Ryuichi and in 2008 produces the magazine 'Rabukoto'.
2008: Working in a new field of expression - the book - exhibits 'Mitsuo Shindo's Happiness is Inside (Mitsu Shindo no fuku wa naiten)'.
2008(Summer): Curator and total design of the outdoor festival 'World Happiness' which attracted over 10,000 participants.
