Josef Muller-Brockmann

1914 - 1996 lived and worked in Switzerland. One of the leading graphic and typography designers since the 50's, he was appointed as the creative director for Swiss Rail (SBB), and IBM Europe. He was selected as "Honorary Designer for Industry" by the Royal Society of Arts in London in 1988, won the Middelton-Award of the American Center for Design in 1990 and the Swiss Design Prize in 1993 various books about his work have been published.
