James Bowden

James Bowden is an artist and illustrator who works and lives in England. His artworks are pure, complicated and abstract all at once and his colorations are as happy and vivid as a child's drawings. When you see his website with the title "Sometimes it goes dark" you will find characters reminiscent of African Masks or South East Asian dolls. He exhibited at Londons Lab Gallery and Bar Chocolate in Soho. He is also the director of GR/DD, a London based graphic and interactive design consultancy. They have done CD jackets for the Chemical Brother's "Hey Boy Hey Girl" Album, Coldplay and Axis Design. They also work on websites and several projects for moving pictures.
